BlueSpiceMultiUpload enables users to seamlessly upload multiple files to the wiki.

Usage

Description[edit | edit source]

BlueSpiceMultiUpload enhances the experience of uploading files to the wiki, with fast and seamless interface.

Usage / functionality[edit | edit source]

By clicking on the "Upload file" link in the left main navigation, a dialog will open prompting to select files to uploadthe operating system's upload dialog opens. Multiple files can be selected.

After confirming the selection of files, an a wiki upload dialog will appear, in which additional data about files being uploaded can be added, like: appears. Here, it is possible to add additional data such as:

  • the namespace to upload to,
  • category to attach to the files, and
  • file descriptions...

All settings are optional.

After configuring the settings, click on "Done" button to upload the file(s). Progress bar will appear, showing the progress A progress bar shows the status of the file upload. In case If there is an error with one or more of the files being uploaded, the dialog will be expanded the to show the problematic files.

After all files are uploaded, the dialog can be closed, completing the process.
