Features

AboutBlueSpice offers a wiki page to provide additional information from an external source, e.g. a page from a content management system.

The extension was developed for marketing reasons, so that people come via a link to an included external page. It is delivered with every edition of a BlueSpice MediaWiki distribution.

The extension inserts a link About BlueSpice in the main navigation. The content of the external page is embedded via an Iframe.

This link can be deactivated in the [[Reference:BlueSpiceConfigManager|]].

Comments:

Focus does not stay in iframe after accepting privacy policy when default BlueSpice content is loaded. (erm:25216)

Default loads a page from bluespice.com which has non-compliant content (video without captions). The default page is hard to navigate because of cookie consent menu and focusable mobile menu.

  • Link can be deactivated in main menu for all users and can be ignored by admin users in the management menu.
  • Extension can be deactivated for on-premise installations or custom content can be loaded in iframe (customer is responsible for loading accessible content).
